Meet a Vienna TOEFL Tutor: Henrietta E.

Henrietta E. has always had an ear for languages. Originally from London, she moved to the United States to attend college, and she graduated from Stanford University with a bachelor's degree in linguistics. During her undergraduate program, she worked as a peer tutor and loved helping others master information that came easily to her. She then obtained a master's degree in international relations, as well as a TESOL certificate, from the University of California at San Diego. Shortly after graduating, she was hired as a translator by an international tech company in Vienna. Henrietta speaks four languages, including German, and she was thrilled to help people communicate better in a corporate environment.

While Henrietta enjoyed her work, she missed supporting others seeking to obtain their own academic successes, and she knew firsthand the importance of a quality education. When she learned Manhattan Review had an office in Vienna, she contacted us about helping students prepare for the TOEFL and other standardized tests assessing one's knowledge of English. We were thrilled to welcome Henrietta to the team, and her classroom-style prep courses fill up almost as soon as they are announced. Her students appreciate her hands-on experience in the field, as well as her strong academic background. When she isn't guiding future college students to their own TOEFL success, Henrietta enjoys camping on nice weekends and watching foreign films.
