Meet a Berlin ACT Tutor: Emin K.

Emin K. was born in Istanbul and never really imagined living anywhere else until he moved to the US for college. Emin hoped to one day become a professional educator, like his mother and uncle, and he planned on specializing in mathematics. After obtaining a very high ACT score, Emin was accepted at Stanford University. During his time at Stanford, Emin worked as a tutor in the Math Learning Center, helping others who did not enjoy working with numbers as much as he did. After graduating, Emin obtained a master's degree in mathematics from MIT, as well as a master's degree in education from Boston University. When he was offered a position as a math teacher at an international school in Berlin, Emin happily relocated.

Emin loves any chance to work with students, and when he learned Manhattan Review had a local office in Berlin, he contacted us about helping students prepare for the ACT and other standardized tests. Emin was quickly welcomed to the team, and his private tutoring students love his detail-oriented approach to test mastery almost as much as they appreciate his generous sense of humor. When Emin isn't guiding future college students to their own ACT successes, he can be found playing the guitar and watching football matches with friends.
