If you are searching for the most effective and comprehensive resources to support your ACT preparation, look no further than the test prep professionals at Manhattan Review. The ACT has become an increasingly popular exam over the past few years, providing students an important alternative to the SAT. When it comes to studying for such an important test, certain students know they do well learning in the company of their peers. Other students, however, know they do not perform at their best when attempting to learn complex academic information in a group setting. They worry about slowing the group down or holding others back because they need to work at a slower pace. Alternatively, these students may experience boredom or frustration once they have mastered a subject but cannot move on until the rest of the group can demonstrate similar mastery. If you know you learn best through one-on-one instruction customized to your individual learning needs, consider working with one of the talented private tutors at Manhattan Review.

Meet a Frankfurt ACT Tutor: Lorenzo G.

Lorenzo G. was born in Palermo, Italy, and never really imagined living anywhere else until he moved to the US for college. Lorenzo hoped to one day become a professional educator, like his father and uncle, and he planned to specialize in mathematics. After obtaining a very high ACT score, Lorenzo was accepted at the University of Chicago. During his time in Chicago, Lorenzo worked part-time as a tutor in the Math Lab, helping others who did not enjoy working with numbers as much as he did. After graduating, Lorenzo obtained a master's degree in mathematics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), as well as a master's degree in education from Boston University. When he was offered a position as a math teacher at a school in Frankfurt, Lorenzo was thrilled to pack his suitcases and happily relocated.

Lorenzo loves any chance to work with students, and when he learned Manhattan Review had a local office in Frankfurt, he contacted us about helping students prepare for the ACT and other standardized tests. Lorenzo was quickly welcomed to the team, and his private tutoring students love his detail-oriented approach to test mastery, as well as his fluency in three languages. When Lorenzo isn't guiding future college students to their own ACT success, he can be found attending music festivals and walking along the banks of the river Main with his girlfriend.
